This update sharpens AppControl’s focus on operational efficiency—introducing real-time log access, enhanced automation via APIs, and more granular control through user-defined access groups. These features help teams respond faster, manage access more precisely, and stay ahead of platform issues.

Highlights of the May AppControl Update
Real-Time Log Downloads
App Administrators can now download and inspect live logs from the Logs tab of any app. This enables immediate troubleshooting and insight without waiting for daily exports.
New System Status Bar for Admins
Platform Administrators now see a system-wide status bar at the top of every page, surfacing urgent issues such as error logs or unresolved feedback—so nothing slips through the cracks.
More Control Through Access Groups
Group Administrators can now create Access Groups, allowing custom permissions for subsets of users within an app group. This makes it easier to delegate responsibilities without sacrificing control.
Expanded Management APIs
New API endpoints allow admins to automate key actions: enable/disable apps and features, and manage app operator assignments. These APIs pave the way for deeper integration and automation.
Smarter, Faster Releases
Release workflows now feature near real-time task output (20–60 seconds), automatic revision refresh and selection, and live dashboard updates—making it easier to monitor progress and react to deployment issues quickly.
More Transparent Support Flow
Support tickets now clearly indicate whether action is pending from Blue Storm or the customer, improving communication and accountability.
