AppControl 2026.5 solves this problem automatically. The new COMP_0013 policy check scans every Mendix app in the portfolio and detects the presence of known AI components — including Mendix Agent Editor, Agent Commons, and related connectors — flagging them systematically across the entire landscape. AppControl is the first and only Mendix governance solution to offer this capability.

AppControl 2026.5 also delivers a range of governance refinements and usability improvements. The “Ignored Checks” concept has been renamed to “Accepted Risks” to better reflect its purpose. Administrators can now enable or disable individual apps directly from the system configuration apps list. Release records include additional metadata for improved traceability, and a number of stability and correctness fixes have been applied across the policy engine, model processor, and task pipeline.
